ARCA Menards Series General Tire 150 at Dover Preview

This week, Dover is the fourth race for the ARCA Menards Series and the second for the ARCA Menards EAST Series, as this is the first combined race between the two! Last Saturday, Jake Finch ran from flag to flag, winning at Talladega.

This time last year, we were not at Dover but at Kansas, where Jesse Love won his second straight race. Jake Finch won at Dover a year ago in the East Series.

This will be the first time that the ARCA MENARDS Series will be hosting a main series race at Dover. The race was increased from 125 laps to 150 laps just this year.

Some notable entries include Carson Kvapil,  racing his first race in ARCA this season for Pinnacle Racing Group, as his teammate, Connor Zilisch, will be making his second start in the series. Mike Basham will be taking the #12 car this weekend for Fast Track, taking the spot where Presley Sorah finished 16th in his first ARCA start.  Marco Andretti will be in his second ARCA main series race, sporting the Group 1001 car as he did at Daytona.

GENERAL TIRE 150 PREDICTIONS

Winner- Brent Crews

Connor Zilisch could be close, but I believe Brent Crews can pull off the win for Venturini on Friday. While most of these cars are able to hopefully hold on, Venturini can continue to show that they are the big dogs in ARCA.

UNDERDOG- Marco Andretti

Now, I know it’s not his thing, but he has shown how fast he is on the short tracks in INDYCAR and how fast he could be in NASCAR. I’d expect Mario Andretti’s grandson to be upfront and in contention for the win after 150 laps.

The race will start at 5:00 Eastern on Friday, and it’s sure to be a good one!
