Gravel On Cusp of Second Consecutive Title

In his fourth season in the Big Game Motorsports #2, David Gravel racked up 15 wins, 44 top fives, and 60 top tens on his way to his first World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car championship. He won nearly 25% of his sixty-six starts with the Greatest Show on Dirt in 2024. In 2025, he has surpassed every one of those stat lines with races still left on the table.

Coming into World Finals week, where he has three more nights of racing left, the Watertown, CT driver again leads the series with 16 wins to go along with his fifty-four top-five and sixty-two top-ten finishes. Gravel also comes into the Queen City with a 138-point lead over Buddy Kofoid in the season standings as he looks to close out his second consecutive WoO title. He’s already one of only eleven guys who can call themselves a World of Outlaws Sprint Car Champion, but a second title would place him in even more elite company as one of only six who can say they’ve done it more than once. Not bad for a guy who’s not even old enough to run for president.

You can follow along with all of this week’s action on DirtVision beginning with Honest Abe Roofing Qualifying night on Wednesday night, followed by three nights of action at the Dirt Track in Charlotte.
