Hendrick Motorsports announced this morning that Alex Bowman has been medically cleared and will return to the No. 48 Ally Chevrolet this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway. Bowman has missed four races in a row after experiencing symptoms of vertigo at Circuit of the Americas in early March.

In Hendrick Motorsports’ press release, Bowman said, “I’m grateful for the support I’ve had from Hendrick Motorsports, my sponsor Ally, our fans, and the medical team throughout this process.” He added, “It’s been tough being out of the car, but we all wanted to make sure I was 100% reeady before returning. I feel really good, and I’m excited about being back at the track with my team and getting back into racing.”
