Stewart-Haas Racing NASCAR Xfinity Series Driver, Riley Herbst, won the Alsco Uniforms 302 at Las Vegas after dominating the race coming to the end of the 2nd stage and leading 103 laps in total to capture his 1st NXS Victory in his 139th start in the series.

Herbst had to start at the rear due to unapporved adjustments and found himself in the Top 10 at the end of stage 1.
He was then able to catch the leaders with 6 laps to go in the stage and passing both John Hunter Nemechek and Stewart-Haas Racing teammate Cole Custer for the Stage 2 victory and again come out the leader ahead of Custer after pit stops.
Then on Riley Herbst lead the way from Lap 97 to Lap 201 leading all but 1 lap due to green flag pit stops and catching the checkered flag leading by almost 15 seconds over 2nd place John Hunter Nemechek.
He went on to say this:
We just beat everybody in the playoffs, trying to go to Phoenix. They all brought their best stuff and we whooped them by about 10 seconds. Everybody said, “I can’t do it. Couldn’t do it. Won’t win. Not good enough.” I just flat out beat them. So I’m pretty happy with myself.
