After 23 incredible years behind the wheel, Kevin Harvick’s legendary NASCAR Cup Series career came to an end on Sunday with a fitting top 10 finish in his 676th and final start.

Suiting up one last time in his iconic #4 Ford Mustang, Harvick overcame intense emotions to secure a 7th place result at Phoenix Raceway, a track where he owns a record 9 wins. From leading laps early on to running near the front all day, Harvick showed he could still compete with the best even in his final outing.
The 60-time Cup winner ends his career 10th on the all-time wins list. His crowning achievement came in 2014 when he captured the series championship in his first year with Stewart-Haas Racing. Known for his aggressiveness early on, Harvick matured into a complete driver, excelling at nearly every track. His longevity and consistency were unmatched, evidenced by 21 straight top 10 finishes at Phoenix to cap his career.
For myself as a lifelong fan of this sport, watching Harvick’s final laps was certainly bittersweet. I’ll never forget the dominating years when he seemed unbeatable week after week. His intensity and will to win always set him apart. While I’m sad to see him retire, I’m grateful I got to witness such a fantastic career.
As Harvick heads off to the broadcast booth, he leaves behind a legacy as one of the most well-rounded drivers ever. His talents extended far beyond driving to building championship teams and leading an organization. Simply put, there won’t be another Kevin Harvick. Congrats to a true legend on an incredible career! We’ll miss seeing him in the #4 up front each week, but his impact on NASCAR will last forever.
