Joe Gibbs Racing announces their much anticipated 2024 lineup

One of the most wanted pieces of the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series has finally been announced with the lineup set up at who will be driving for the Joe Gibbs Racing program next season.

Here is everything you need to know:

The #18 entry will be driven by Sheldon Creed full-time, and the new #81 entry will be driven by Chandler Smith full-time as well.

“Honestly, I’m just really excited to be here. JGR has been extremely good in both Xfinity and Cup, not just the last couple of years but, you know, for a long time,” Creed said. “Excited to be here and excited to get rolling with my guys.”

“Toyota, all the executives, everybody at TRD and Toyota, they were my family. They picked me up when I was 14 years old and gave me opportunities that I wouldn’t have been able to have without them,” Smith said. “So, to be able to come back and be with people that believe in me and put me in the best equipment to go win championships and trophies under their banner, that’s who I want to go to bat for every single weekend.”

JGR will also be fielding 2 rotational cars, with the #19 entry being driven by the following:

Ryan Truex
William Sawalich
Joe Graf Jr
Taylor Gray

Truex, Graf Jr’s, and Gray’s races are TBA, but Sawalich will be running at Homestead-Miami, Martinsville, and Phoenix Raceway to end the 2024 season.

The #20 entry will be split for the 2024 season, with John Hunter Nemechek driving for the 1st 2 events at Daytona and Atlanta, as well as Nashville Superspeedway plus 7 other events later in the year and Aric Almirola also making starts throughout the year.

William Sawalich will also be running for Joe Gibbs Racing in the ARCA Menards Series with a co-driver in Tanner Gray, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver for Tricon Garage.
