Thorsport Racing announces their 2024 driver lineup

NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team Thorsport Racing announced their 2024 lineup yesterday at their yearly end-of-the-year open-house and showed off their lineup for next year.

Here’s all you need to know:

#13 Thorsport Racing entry: Jake Garcia

Garcia ran the full 2023 campaign last year with McAnally-Hilgemann Racing in their #35 Truck and finished the year 13th in points with 3 Top 5’s and 9 Top 10’s with a best finish of 2nd at the season finale at Phoenix.

#66 Thorsport Racing entry: Conner Jones

Jones will be driving on a part-time basis in 2024 with a yet undetermined amount of races.

Jones ran in 9 NCTS events in 2023 for Thorsport, finishing with a best finish of 15th at Bristol while suffering 4 DNFs as well.

He also ran 8 main ARCA Menards Series races, scoring Top 10’s in all races, as well as 5 ARCA Menards Series East races doing the same for Venturini Motorsports.

#88 Thorsport Racing entry: Matt Crafton

It’s no question whether or not the series veteran would be running for his 24th full-time season in 2024.

Crafton finished last season 9th in points for the 2nd year in a row while also scoring 2 Top 5’s and 9 Top 10’s, with a best finish of 4th at Bristol dirt.

#98 Thorsport Racing entry: Ty Majeski

One of the rising stars at Thorsport will be returning as Ty Majeski, will be returning for his 3rd full-time season with the team.

Majeski scored a win at IRP last season as well as scoring 8 Top 5’s, 14 Top 10’s, and 2 pole awards, leading to an 8th place points finish for the season.

#99 Thorsport Racing entry: Ben Rhodes

It’s no question your 2023 defending NCTS Champion would be returning for a shot at going back-to-back.

Rhodes captured a win at Charlotte as well as 7 Top 5’s and 14 Top 10’s while also having a stellar run in the playoffs, holding off Grant Enfinger for the title in a chaotic season finale race at Phoenix, which saw the other 2 Final 4 contenders, Corey Heim and Carson Hocevar, take each other out of contention late in the race.

All in all, Thorsport will be having 4 full-time trucks for the 2024 season with 1 part-time entry.
