The Top-10 Raced Win Diecast was a mixed bag of surprises and some that seemed to be pretty obvious additions to the list.

3 of the Top-10 are NASCAR Classics with Kevin Harvick’s first win at Atlanta in 2001, Dale Earnhardt’s 1998 Daytona 500 win, and Richard Petty’s 1981 Daytona 500 win.

NASCAR’s winningest driver ever, Kyle Busch, added 3 Cup wins to his legendary record. His first win with his first new team in nearly a decade and a half topped the list as the best-selling Raced Win Diecast of 2023. His Richard Childress Racing Lucas Oil Chevrolet that won the final Auto Club race surprisingly beat out Earnhardt’s 500 win to get that spot. All 3 of Kyle’s Cup wins would make the list of Top-10 Raced wins.

The official list… Your 2023 Top-10 Diecast!

You’ve got 3 of the previously mentioned Raced win Diecast on this list as well, with Busch’s Lucas Oil win leading off as the 3rd best-selling. Dale Earnhardt’s 1998 Daytona 500 win hits the list in a surprising 5th and Shane Van Gisbergen’s inaugural Chicago win coming 7th.

Kevin Harvick’s Busch Light All-Star No. 29 car topped the list, and that comes as no surprise. The collaboration between Harvick, Stewart-Haas, and Richard Childress as a tribute to the future Hall of Famer’s early days was arguably the most unique car we’ve seen in decades, even with Throwback weekend down at Darlington.

Chase Elliott’s generic NAPA Camaro making the list in what is his worst season since winning in 2018 shows exactly how strong fandom can be in the sport. This coming despite missing nearly 20% of the season to injury and suspension.

An Xfinity Series car even hit the list with the slick, orange-toned Dale Earnhardt Jr Bass Pro Shops Homestead-Miami car. Coming in 9th, the 15-time most popular driver seems to be slipping down the list in terms of Diecast popularity, showing a transition of fan favorites.

With the Intimidator’s infamous 500 win coming 5th in sales, it just goes to show the transition of the Legacy fanbase to the sport’s new core fanbase and what they buy. Today’s fans grew up with Harvick and not the legend whose place he took. Ryan Blaney’s Championship car and even the Rockin’ Erik Jones car outsold the Man in Black. Times move on.

One of the big surprises on this list, however, is NASCAR’s 75th Anniversary Camaro coming in 6th. This just shows the power of promotion. NASCAR did a SPECTACULAR job promoting their diamond anniversary, and this just goes to show how well they did. This car outsold Chase freaking Elliott. By 2 spots. The particular car was the Chevrolet Camaro body, showing that Chevrolet continues to be the fan favorite in terms of manufacturer.
