Updated Emergency Busch Light Clash TV Schedule & Details

For the first time ever, NASCAR has pushed a race an entire 24 hours early due to a major storm coming into California.

We first heard from two of our contacts, including a NASCAR Cup Series Champion, that NASCAR was in talks to push the event forward to Saturday night. That came through, and now the event will be held at 8pm on Saturday.

Details

  • The Heat Races, as well as the Last Chance Qualifiers, are CANCELLED
  • Practice will go on and begin at 5:35pm ET and is considered qualifying for the first 22 spots.
  • The 23rd entry will be based on owner’s points
  • Entry will be free for the first time in NASCAR history
  • There will still be a halftime show
  • There will be no fan fest
  • Sunday tickets and pre-paid parking will be refunded at a later date
  • The NASCAR Mexico Series will run following the Busch Light Clash

Schedule

  • 5:35 pm ET on FS1 – Practice/qualifying
  • 8:00 pm ET on FS1 – Main Event for full 150 laps
  • The NASCAR Mexico Series will follow the Busch Light Clash (Apx. 11 pm ET)
