NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Colby Howard has signed with Tricon Garage to drive their No. 1 Toyota TRD Pro in Atlanta.

The 22-year-old from Simpsonville, South Carolina, will be sponsored by Project Hope Foundation, who has backed Howard back in his late model days at Greenville-Pickens Speedway.

“I’m incredibly excited to be working with TRICON and the No. 1 team at Atlanta,” said Howard. “This is a massive opportunity for me at this point in my career and I’m looking forward to going out and making the most of it. Atlanta’s new configuration can be tricky, but I’m ready for the challenge and to prove I belong.”

Howard has raced last season for CR7 Motorsports in their No. 9 Chevrolet Silverado RST entry and finished 21st in points with a best finish of 4th coming in the season opener at Daytona.
