ARCA Menards Series – General Tire 150 at Phoenix preview

This weekend, the ARCA Menards Series heads to the desert in Avondale, AZ, for the General Tire 150 at Phoenix Raceway.

The 2024 ARCA Menards Series season heads into Race Number 2 after ARCA kicked off their season with Gus Dean, and the Venturini Motorsports No. 55 team took home the checkered flag at Daytona, but this time as well, it’ll be the season opener for the first race of the 2024 ARCA Menards West Series.

In 2023, we saw Tyler Reif and the Lowden-Jackson Motorsports No. 41 get the win at Phoenix after a late race restart, holding off both Landen Lewis and Bradley Erickson to take the checkered flag.

Reif will drive for a new team this year. In 2024, he’ll drive the No. 13 for Central Coast Racing full-time.

32 cars will qualify for the event on speed, and then 4 provisional spots will be given via owners’ points for both ARCA and ARCA West teams.

General Tire 150 Predictions:

General Tire Pole Award winner: Grant Enfinger

Enfinger will be a strong contender for the ARCA Menards Series pole as he has a lot of experience at the track and almost won the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship here last season.

General Tire 150 Race Winner: William Sawalich

I believe Sawalich will have the most dominant car with his Joe Gibbs Racing Camry. He was good here last season but was caught up in two separate incidents and finished 13th.

Top 10 Predictions:

1st: 18 William Sawalich
2nd: 23 Grant Enfinger
3rd: 61 Sean Hingorani
4th: 25 Toni Breidinger
5th: 20 Gio Ruggiero
6th: 50 Trevor Huddleston
7th: 73 Andy Jankowiak
8th: 6 Lavar Scott
9th: 70 Kyle Keller
