Season 10 saw tremendous increases milestones for the FiA’s Electric open wheel racing series. The Formula E World Championship raced in three of the worlds most populated countries, a 205% increase year over year in social media traffic, exceeded a million followers on Tik-Tok, they even saw a 54% increase in key markets for the season opener. In Season 11, the Formula E World Championship will look to build on all of those exciting milestones.
The Mexico City opener will be swapped for Sau Paulo, with Mexico City moving to Round 2. One of the major changes announced to the Season 11 schedule is the moving of the Diriyah E-Prix double header Rounds 2 & 3 to the Red Sea and the city of Jeddah for Rounds 3 & 4. Dates will be February 13th and 14th.
Round 5’s location on March 8th is so far yet to be announced, but Round 6 sees the replacement of the Portland race in the United States, this time, in Miami at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. Homestead will be followed by three double headers.
The Formula E World Championship will head to the legendary racing city of Monaco for Rounds 7 & 8 followed by Tokyo for Rounds 9 & 10. The series will then make the short trip to Shanghai, China for Rounds 11 & 12 before racing in Jakarta for Round 13.
For the final legs of Season 11, the Formula E World Championship will return to the European continent, first to Berlin for Rounds 14 & 15 before the series head to the location of the Championship race Rounds 16 & 17 in jolly old England. The FEWC will crown their champion at the end of Round 17 in London for the third year in a row.
