After a hiatus from the Nationwide/Xfinity Series from 2007-2021, Hendrick Motorsports returned to the series with their own No. 17 Camaro entry in 2022. Since then, the team has not fielded a full-time entry but rather several races per season for their full-time Cup Series drivers, with entries for Rajah Caruth and Boris Said as well. Since their return, Kyle Larson scored the team’s first Xfinity Series win at Circuit of the Americas last season with Chase Elliott following that up a few weeks later at Charlotte.
In 2025, Hendrick Motorsports is back. This season will be their biggest since 2007, with the team intending to enter 16 races. They will feature 10 races for rising HMS development driver Corey Day, 1 for 2014 series champion Chase Elliott, 2 for 2021 Cup champ Kyle Larson, 1 for Alex Bowman, and 2 for 2017 champ William Byron.
Adam Wall will be the crew chief for all five drivers, with sponsorship coming from Hendrickcars.com.
