Holly Clark making ARCA Menards Series West debut at Colorado

Hailing from Colorado Springs, Colo., say hello to 18-year-old Holly Clark, who will be making her first start in the ARCA Menards Series West in her home state at Colorado National Speedway in Dacono, Colo. She will be driving the #72 Chevrolet for start-up team Strike Mamba Racing, owned by Canadian Jonathan Reaume. Subway and Rocky Mountain Cycle Plaza will serve as sponsors for her debut. Al Lebert, the current #72 crew chief, will reprise his role, and Tarryn Attrill will serve as her spotter. She is undoubtedly very excited to make the transition and step on the ladder towards the ARCA Menards Series.

At only five years old, Clark started her racing career, competing in quarter midgets. She has progressed her way through many series ever since. She won multiple championships from 2013-2019 in quarter midgets and multiple divisions within USAC and the Silver State Winter Nationals. She has also competed in multiple late model and modified series’ such as in the Rocky Mountain Legend Racing Association, Colorado Sport Alliance SportMod Tour, Intermountain Outlaw Modified Series, SPEARS (formerly Lucas Oil) Modified Series, SRL SPEARS Pro Late Model Series, Carolina Pro Late Model Series, and both CARS Tour West divisions amongst many others. In 2024, she also scored two victories in the NASCAR Weekly Series in the Division IV championship. Despite not winning a race, she also won the 2024 SPEARS Modified Series championship with a best finish of 2nd at Redwood Acres Raceway and Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway. In 2025, she has so far competed in the first two CARS Tour West Super Late Model Series events and scored a top ten in both events with a best finish of sixth at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Clark is competing for Strike Mamba Racing at Colorado, which is owned by Jonathan Reaume, the older brother of NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series owner-driver Josh Reaume, who owns Reaume Brothers Racing. The start-up team is running two cars full-time in the ARCA Menards Series West with 22-year-old Blake Lothian from Wellesley, Mass., competing full-time in the #51 Chevrolet and competing for rookie of the year in the series. Lothian currently sits seventh in points and second in the rookie battle to California’s Robbie Kennealy. Lothian scored his first career top ten finish in the series’ last race at Tucson, where he finished ninth. The #72 is competing full-time with multiple drivers, such as Cody Dennison and Jonathan Reaume himself, who is scheduled to compete in more races in the car. Dennison ran as high as second at Tucson before ultimately falling back to 10th. Clark will become the third different driver to pilot the #72 car this season and is hoping to give the #72 their best finish of the year and best the eighth-place run Dennison scored at the season opener at Kern County in January.

As for Clark’s experience at Colorado, she is no stranger to it, with five starts there in the Rocky Mountain Legend Racing Association all in 2020, with a best finish of 14th three times. She also finished fifth there in the SPEARS Modified Series race last year. Colorado National Speedway is also celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, having opened back in 1955. The ARCA Menards Series West is also making its first trip to the 3/8-mile oval since 202,1 when California’s Joey Iest scored the victory. Clark hopes to put on a good run for her home state and run the best she can. The ARCA Menards Series West will compete at Colorado National Speedway for the Colorado 150 on Saturday, May 24 at 10 PM ET/8 PM MT. The race will air on FloRacing and will be the fourth race on the 12-race west schedule this season.
