Denny Hamlin spoke on the 23 team and Bubba Wallace on Actions Detrimental today.

“It’s just other stuff, they cannot put together races from green to checkered. It’s not on one person and one thing, it’s mechanicals… just killed the 23 this week. Other people’s wrecks killed the 23 over the last few weeks. What I really appreciate is Bubba Wallace’s attitude. I mean, a 180… weeks like this would have to be full therapy mode in past years. It really makes it much easier to fix these problems when we’re not trying to fix an attitude problem as well.

It just makes it easier, and he’s making our job a lot easier… It’s on us to step up at this point.”

Bubba Wallace currently sits 12th in the standings, 22 points outside of the top 10, where he was before Pocono. He is now just two spots above the Playoff Cutline, just 29 points to the good.
