5 Sure-Fire Future NASCAR Hall of Famers

The NASCAR Hall of Fame holds record holders, pioneers, and some of the greatest minds in the history of our beloved motorsport. From Petty to Earnhardt, Johnson to Johnson, and many in between, we all know the past. But today, we look to the future.

Here are 5 current drivers that will, without a doubt, become first ballot Hall of Famers one day.

Joey Logano

Joey Logano is a 3-time NASCAR Cup Series Champion with a combined 69 NASCAR victories. Logano was once dubbed “Sliced Bread.” Once praised as the next big driver for Toyota, he now sits as the top driver for Ford Racing in NASCAR’s Top Series.

Kyle Busch

Easily at the top of this list, for many obvious reasons, Kyle Busch will become a Hall of Famer without question. The winningest driver in NASCAR history, Kyle Busch, has amassed over 230 wins across the sport. He is a top 10 all-time Cup winner, No. 1 in O’Reilly, and No. 1 in Craftsman Truck history. Busch has won multiple races for each team he has raced for, including becoming the first Cup Series winner and the first Cup Championship winner for Toyota.

Off track, Kyle Busch was the owner of Kyle Busch Motorsports, the former Craftsman Truck Series and O’Reilly Auto Parts Series team. KBM remains to this day one of the winningest teams in Craftsman Truck Series history. 100 victories and two titles before they closed their doors at the end of the 2023 season. They hold 1 loan win in the former Nationwide Series, won by older brother Kurt Busch.

Busch is credited with developing drivers such as Christopher Bell, William Byron, Bubba Wallace, Erik Jones, Noah Gragson, Corey Heim, and others.

Justin Allgaier

Justin Allgaier currently ranks as the 8th-winningest driver in NASCAR’s O’Reilly Auto Parts Series history. 29 victories spanning back to 2010 with Team Penske. Justin is best known to fans for his lengthy stint with Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s JR Motorsports, where he has amassed 26 of his 29 series victories and won the 2024 season championship.

Justin has made 84 starts in NASCAR’s Cup Series, mostly with the former H-Scott Motorsports. Justin has scored a pair of Top 10 finishes, including a fan-favorite 9th-place finish in the 2025 Daytona 500 for JR Motorsports’ first-ever Cup Series start.

Kyle Larson

Kyle Larson is a two-time Cup Series Champion, 32-time Cup winner, 17-time O’Reilly Auto Parts Series winner, and 4-time Craftsman Truck Series winner. Larson’s endeavors in NASCAR include attempts at the double twice, with wins at the Southern 500, the Brickyard 400, the Coke 600, and so on. He is the winningest driver of the NEXT Gen Era of NASCAR with 16 wins so far.

Off the NASCAR Track, Larson is known for bridging the Dirt and NASCAR worlds. Attracting fans of one to look to the other. Larson has been dubbed (and dubbed himself) the Greatest Driver in the World.

Denny Hamlin

Denny Hamlin is the Iron Man. The longest tenured full-time driver currently in the NASCAR Cup Series. However, at 45, age has not slowed him down. He was the winningest driver of the 2025 season, and at 60 career wins, he now sits only three races away from tying Kyle Busch’s Cup win record. Denny is, without a doubt, the best driver to (So far) never win a NASCAR Championship.

Denny has a combined win total of 80, putting him in elite company. Off the track, however, Denny is just as important to NASCAR. Alongside NBA legend Michael Jordan, Denny is the co-owner of 23XI Racing, one of the most successful new teams in recent memory. The team has secured 12 Cup Series victories, including two Crown Jewel winners with Bubba Wallace and his Brickyard 400 and Daytona 500 Champion, Tyler Reddick.
