Kaden Honeycutt was best known for taking any ride that he could get in the Craftsman Truck Series. From G2G, Roper Motorsports, and On Point to Niece Motorsports. Finally, in 2024, Niece would give him a fantastic opportunity in their No. 45 truck to run the majority of the CTS schedule before moving to the truck full-time in 2025. 2025 would be Kaden’s season to prove himself. Nine top-10s in the first 16 races, Kaden was a lock for the Playoffs. But an Injury for Stewart Friesen would change his trajectory. Kaden would leave Niece and, after a single start for Young’s at the Glen, fill in for the injured Friesen with Halmar Friesen Motorsports for the remainder of the season. Kaden would score another five top-10s and finish the season off with a Final 4 appearance at Phoenix in the No. 52 Toyota.
Kaden Honeycutt started the 2026 season in the best ride in the business. The reigning championship-winning No. 11 Tundra racing for TRICON Garage, and the success didn’t wait long. If Kaden didn’t have issues on track, he was racing for the win. Despite a pair of laps down at EchoPark Speedway and a DNF at Bristol, Kaden’s worst finish of the season was Daytona in 8th.
The Second Weekend of May 2026
Kaden Honeycutt would start the weekend in the No. 17 Camry of Cook Racing Technologies for the General Tire 100 at Watkins Glen. His first national ARCA Menards Series race since 2023 and his first ARCA race in general since 2024. Kaden is a solid road-course racer, and all the extra time behind the wheel is helpful. How helpful? A dominant race win, that’s how helpful. Kaden would score his first-ever ARCA victory on the road course.
Momentum is key. Kaden started the Craftsman Truck Series race P. 7 with some absolute killers on the road course in the field, including SVG and Connor Zilisch. Kaden clearly had a fast truck, but a lack of Stage Points, and no one expected what would come next. Honeycutt kept up with the leaders on a few late race restarts, but it was the final restart that would make his dreams of becoming a NASCAR winner come true. Honeycutt would race his way past an absolutely dominant Connor Zilisch to score his first CTS victory.
Saturday Night
Kaden would make the trip back to North Carolina and Ace Speedway to compete in both of the CARS Tour races, where he would make history. The CARS Tour consists of two classes: Late Model and Pro Late Model. Honeycutt would take the lead with 75 laps to go to win the Late Model feature. He would lead all 100 laps of the Pro Late Model feature to secure that victory as well, making him the first racer in Tour history to win both races in the same evening.
Momentum followed Kaden throughout the weekend, and we can all easily expect to see him back in Victory Lane multiple times in 2026. If you’re looking for a future NASCAR star, look no further than Kaden Honeycutt.
