Kevin Magnussen to Drive Project 91 for TrackHouse at San Diego

In one of the worst-kept secrets in the garage, former F1 and current BMW M WEC driver Kevin Magnussen will race the San Diego street course for TrackHouse Racing in their Project 91 car. Magnussen will become only the fourth driver to field the car TrackHouse set aside as a test bed for the world’s elite drivers to experience NASCAR.

Kevin is currently competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship with BMW M, where BMW sits atop the Manufacturer championship, with Kevin and co-driver Raffaele Marciello in P5.

Next weekend, Kevin will focus on one of the most infamous races in history, The 24 du Le Mans. Le Mans is one of the greatest tests of man and machine in motorsports. The following weekend, he will make the trip to the United States Naval Base Coronado and the NASCAR race in San Diego, a completely new endeavor not only for Kevin, but for NASCAR as a whole.

Remember the last time Project 91 went to a completely new circuit for the first time?
