Jeremy Clements has been a staple of the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series since 2003, when he made a pair of starts for Kenneth Appling Racing. Since 2003, Jeremy has even made starts for JD Motorsports and Joe Gibbs Racing. In 2008, he and his father, Tony, founded Jeremy Clements Racing.
In 2011, Jeremy Clements Racing went full-time racing, and in 2014, Jeremy raced full-time in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and hasn’t stopped since. And with that, we have our history. When Jeremy takes the green flag this Saturday at US Naval Base Coronado, he will make history by making the most all-time starts in the series. 548 career starts. Despite being seen as an underdog, Jeremy has 2 Series wins and 44 Top 10s to his name.
Saturday, he will pass none other than Kenny Wallace for that record.
“This was never a goal of mine, and it’s really badass to do it at this age,” said Clements.
