2026 NASCAR Cup Series Sonoma Finishing Order

The twists and turns of wine country in Sonoma, California, play host to the boys of NASCAR once a year. Once again, we laid our eyes on the driver who will go down in history as the greatest road racer the sport has ever seen. Shane van Gisbergen treated us to yet another road course ass woopin’. He led 74 of 110 laps en route to his 8th career Cup Series victory. That victory ties him for second all-time with none other than Tony Stewart all-time on road courses. Next in his sights is the legend himself, Jeff Gordon.

Ty Gibbs would start on the pole and lead the second-most laps at 31, with Kyle Larson leading 2, Blaney, Byron, and Chastain each leading a lap. Connor Zilisch would have the best race of his career and score his first top-10 finish in 7th. Chase Briscoe would give SVG the only competition he had all day, but on the last lap, it was just too little too late.
