Lucas Oil Products Expands Partnership with Richard Childress Racing and Kyle Busch

Lucas Oil Products, a long-time partner of both Richard Childress Racing (RCR) and ECR Engines, has announced an expanded partnership with RCR and new driver Kyle Busch for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season.

The Indianapolis-based company will sponsor Busch and the No. 8 car for multiple races next season. Lucas Oil will also continue as the official motor oil of ECR Engines under the expanded partnership.

Additionally, when Busch competes at the grassroots racing level in a Micro Sprint car, he will carry the Lucas Oil branding as the primary sponsor. Busch is set to debut the Lucas Oil colors on December 26th at the Tulsa Shootout.

“RCR and ECR share our passion for motorsports, from the grassroots to the highest levels of the sport,” said Brandon Bernstein, Lucas Oil’s Director of Partnership Marketing. “We share Kyle’s passion for short track racing and have seen first-hand the benefits of our partnership, especially as it relates to technology transfer over to short track racers and everyday consumers.”

Lucas Oil has been the official lubricant of RCR and ECR Engines since 2014. Together, RCR, ECR, and Lucas Oil have celebrated over 20 NASCAR Cup Series wins. Through continuous product research and development alongside aggressive marketing, Lucas Oil has established itself as an industry leader in high-performance lubricants and additives.

Earlier this year, Busch drove the No. 8 Lucas Oil Chevrolet to victory at Auto Club Speedway. It marked the first NASCAR Cup Series win for both Lucas Oil and Busch’s new partnership with RCR and extended Busch’s streak to 19 consecutive seasons with at least one win.
