In what is a relatively unsurprising development, AJ Allmendinger will be making his 11th attempt at the Daytona 500 come February with Kaulig Racing.

Allmendinger and Kaulig have a very tight-knit relationship with team owner Matt Kaulig and team president Chris Rice. Going back to 2019, in a partnership that has led to 15 Xfinity Series wins and 2 Cup Series wins.

It is anticipated that Allmendinger will not be competing to for points in the Cup Series and will be returning to the Xfinity Series to contend for his first NASCAR title.
