The Money Team Racing looking towards a part-time schedule in 2024

Via Forbes magazine, The Money Team Racing owned by famous boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. will be looking at a part-time schedule for the upcoming season.

The team’s goal is to enter five to eight races in 2024, followed by the lofty goal of fielding a full-time effort with or without a charter in 2025.

“We wanted to compete in more races [in 2023], but it just didn’t work out,” Co-Owner Becky Auchmoody said. “We were prepared, started to get everything ready for the year and it just didn’t follow through. Every race is a learning experience for us. Every time we hit the track, we want to put forward the best effort we can.”

“We are really excited to see TMT Racing continue to grow under Becky’s leadership, she has been the heart of our team since day one,” Mayweather said in a statement. “Her involvement is great for Nascar and the empowerment of women in sports.”

TMT Racing ran 2 races in 2023 with NTT Indycar Series driver Conor Daly behind the wheel scoring a best finish of 29th in the Daytona 500 as well as a 36th at Circuit of The Americas (COTA).

The team will be putting together an entry for the 2024 Daytona 500 for their #50 Chevrolet entry and will be using ECR engines for the effort.

More details on the driver and other info are not known at this time but will be released within the coming weeks.
