There’s a new ARCA Menards Series team on the horizon and entering the sport for the 1st time at Daytona in the coming weeks.

ARCA Menards Series driver AJ Moyer has started his own ARCA Menards Series team for the 2024 season with help from longtime sponsors Randy Petroniro and Randy Petroniro Jr, with AJ and Randy Jr sharing 50/50 ownership in the organization.

The team will be called Moyer-Petroniro Racing, and they’ll be running the ARCA Menards Series opener on February 17th with Moyer behind the wheel of the No. 88 Chevrolet with Ilmor power under the hood.

“I’m beyond excited to have an opportunity to be in competitive equipment for the first time in the ARCA Menards Series and truly thankful to have an opportunity to team up with great people who want to win!” Moyer said. “I’m currently planning on competing in the 6 races for the General Tire superspeedway challenge with Randy Petroniro Jr looking to make his debut at the smaller tracks.”
