Ford Performance unveiled its new Mustang “Bred to Race” lineup at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan, this past September. I was there to see the iconic pony car’s full race lineup in person. That included the brand’s Mustang GT4 race car.

Now, four months later, that car swept the weekend at the Daytona International Speedway.
Debuting at the first round of the VP Racing SportsCar Challenge on Saturday, the Mustang GT4 managed to snag that first win with Luca Mars behind the wheel of the KohR Motorsports No. 59. Sunday afternoon, Luca would double-down for Ford Performance, winning the second round of the VP Racing SportsCar Challenge as well.
