Each year, NASCAR has a fan vote on the most popular driver for each of its three main touring series. This fan vote is a little off and let me tell you why. Fans can go online and vote each day for their driver(s), so fans who are a bit more devoted can make a big difference in an otherwise close vote.
We live in 2024, where Social Media popularity can potentially make or break funding for a driver. Drivers with greater followings are not only more likely to score a new sponsor or personal endorsement but potentially even a ride.
So, let’s take a look at the overall followers for many of your favorite Xfinity Series drivers on 3 of the biggest Social Media platforms out there: Facebook, X, and Instagram.
