Truex Wins at Daytona. Full Results

Ryan Truex, the younger brother of 2017 Monster Energy Cup Series champion Martin Truex Jr. has not had a full-time opportunity in the Xfinity Series since 2018 where he finished 12th in a Kaulig Entry. Ryan has only made 26 starts in the Xfinity Series since then, but has made the absolute most of the opportunities he has had, winning at Dover twice and now Daytona.

Friday night, Ryan Truex paced the field for 28 laps, second most of the field behind series regular AJ Allmendinger including holding off the 16 and 48 cars on the final restart that worked so well together all night long.

Justin Allgaier continued his Stage dominance as he swept both of the Stages for his 12th and 13th Stage wins of the 2024 season. For comparison, Chandler Smith has the second most Stage wins with five.

Despite Parker Kligerman’s 20 point and 5 Stage Point penalties following Michigan, his third place finish last night and 11 Stage Points keep his 44 points above the Cutline.
