With the sudden passing of Kyle Busch, we look back at his accomplishments behind the wheel and behind the helm in NASCAR. Kyle was not only a racer, but a team owner and a champion of the sport. Kyle was only 41 years old. He was a husband and father of two and will be missed by the entire NASCAR and motorsports community.
Kyle is survived by his wife, Samantha Busch, whom he married in 2010, his 11-year-old son, Brexton, and his 4-year-old daughter, Lennix. His brother Kurt, his mother, and his father, Gaye, and Tom.

Kyle Busch owned KBM, Kyle Busch Motorsports, Craftsman Truck Series, and O’Reilly Auto Parts Series teams from 2010 to 2023.

His first NASCAR race win Came in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series at Richmond in 2004, racing for Hendrick Motorsports.
He has won all of NASCAR’s crown jewel races outside of the Daytona 500.
Kyle Busch will likely go down in NASCAR history as the winningest driver ever, an accomplishment that more than likely will never be matched. 234 Combined Victories; 63 Cup Series Victories. 69 Craftsman Truck Series Victories. 102 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Victories. 2015 and 2019 NASCAR Cup Series Champion. 2009 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Champion. 2005 Cup Series Rookie of the Year.
He sits as the 9th All-Time Cup winner, 1st All-Time OAPS, 1st All-Time CTS, and 1st NASCAR All-Time.
The only driver to ever receive a bounty. $100,000 to the driver from Cup, who could go down to the CTS to beat him. Chase Elliott got that bounty.
He won the first Cup Series race for Toyota in 2007 and their first Championship in 2015.
He holds the all-time record of 19 straight Cup Series seasons with a victory. Another record that will likely never be broken.
