“I finally won something!”
Cleetus McFarland will rip around Michigan like a bald eagle at 5 pm on FS2. He won his first NASCAR Pole Award this afternoon at Michigan International Speedway over Jake Bollman and Lanie Buice.
As he approached the ARCA hauler for his Sioux Chief Pole photo, Cleetus and his good friend George, with giant smiles on their faces, said, “You mean there isn’t some big ass trophy?”
The weather is expected to be a challenge this evening, but the boys and girls of the ARCA Menards Series will tackle it to win the Henry Ford Health 200 here at MIS. A few drivers did not post a qualifying lap, including Isabella Robusto, who spun in Turn 4 before she could clock a time.
