Max Reaves goes back-to-back on short tracks with wins at Berlin and Elko. Elko wasn’t the pure domination we have come to expect from the Joe Gibbs Racing driver, but he still won by over 5 seconds over Nitro Motorsports’ Jake Bollman. Why did he have to race his way forward, you may ask? An engine failure during practice sent the JGR No. 18 Camry to the rear, but that didn’t last long.
Landon S. Hoffman would dominate early, before a major failure in the rear end would seal his fate with a 14th-place finish.
