As we have all known for some time, in what is arguably one of the best-kept secrets of the 2027 Silly Season, Riley Herbst will part ways with 23XI Racing at the end of the 2026 season and move to Legacy Motor Club. The Las Vegas native will start his 3rd full-time Cup Series season behind the wheel of the No. 84 Toyota Camry XSE as the new 3rd Chartered team for Legacy at Daytona.

Team Owner Jimmie Johnson will make his final career start at that same race, only with his legendary 48 adorning the doors and roof. Monster Energy will continue to support Riley’s Cup efforts, with support from other unknown sponsors.
