Timmy Hill Goes Full-Time For the First Time Since 2026 with Team Reaume in 2027

Timmy Hill will run the full FedEx Freight Truck Series schedule for the first time since 2024 next year, but he will be making a major change. Timmy will not be running his own No. 56 truck. You have to go back to Kansas in 2019 to find the last time Timmy was behind the wheel of someone else’s truck when he raced for NEMCO Motorsports.

Since 2020, Hill has fielded the 56 truck and run his small, family-owned truck team to eight top-10 finishes while only running full-time twice. In 2027, Timmy will field the Team Reaume No. 2 Ford F-150, making him the team’s first full-time driver since Lawless Alan in 2024.

Team Reaume brings Hill on not only as a driver, but as a driver with history and experience in Trucks, ARCA, Cup, and O’Reilly competition, as well as team owner experience.

“Timmy and I go back to 2014, when we first raced together as teammates,” said Team Owner Josh Reaume. “Over the past few years, our friendship has grown in a way I never expected. We’ve both run our own teams, and we’ve leaned on each other through the same challenges that come with being an owner in this sport. I’m honored that the Hill family recognizes the growth of this team and trusts that we’re better working together, and I’m proud to welcome Timmy to Team Reaume for 2027.”

“We’re putting all our chips on the table for 2027. Our goal is to take this program’s performance to the next level, and adding Timmy is a big step toward that. He’s one of the most experienced drivers in the series, and the knowledge he brings, both on the track and as a former team owner, will make every truck in our program better,” said Amir Alexander, Team Principal at Team Reaume.
