Brennan Poole will be transitioning from Alpha Prime Racing to Jordan Anderson Racing for the 2027 season. Brennan proved why he’s a team owner’s dream before making that move; he ran a perfect season. Not one time this season did Brennan fail to finish a race.
Brennan is the first driver in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series to accomplish this feat since AJ Allmendinger did so in 2022. This shows consistency not only from Brennan, but from his team as well. Alpha Prime made sure to bring some seriously solid equipment to the track week in and week out. Not one major mechanical failure.
Brennan netted four top-10 finishes in 2026, including at the Circuit of the Americas on the road course, the short-track at Iowa, the high banks of Daytona, and at home at Charlotte. Sure, those aren’t headline-stealing stats, but to finish the season without a DNF shows remarkable consistency.
While his season didn’t produce those typical headline-stealing stats like the champion’s six victories, it shows Brennan can be just as valuable. His season wasn’t just riding around in the rear of the field either. He spent over 13% of the laps run in the top-15, and his worst finish came very late in the season at Phoenix. A 35th-place finish where he only failed to complete three laps.
Next season represents a new opportunity for Poole, one that the seasoned vet hopes can bring him that elusive first OAPS victory. If JAR can bring him a car as solid as Alpha Prime, I think we can see a series-best season for Brennan in 2027.
