This past weekend, NASCAR made its fifth and potentially last trip to the famed Formula 1 circuit, Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. For the first time, NASCAR and the venue made a significant change. Circuit of the Americas cut the course by nearly a mile, creating the new “National Circuit. ” It was a massive success in terms of fan response online.
Joe Gibbs Racing’s Christopher Bell scored his 15th career Cup Series victory and second in a row following one of the best road course battles we’ve seen in years. On Saturday, Rookie phenom Connor Zilisch scored the second win of his Xfinity Series career. The Craftsman Truck Series will be off until Vegas.
