As the Craftsman Truck Series graced Homestead-Miami Speedway last night, we saw a fantastic display of racing. And with a pair of Cup Series winners in the field, the Truck Series drivers had to be on their toes. Truck regulars Corey Heim and Layne Riggs held Kyle Larson and Ross Chastain’s feet to the fire, leading 81 laps compared to the Cup regular’s 53 laps. However, ultimately, Heim’s dominance of the race faltered as his engine had issues in the closing laps, and Larson would pass him for the win despite spinning 39 laps prior.
