Fans and Supporters Rally Behind Alex Clubb Following His Elko Fines

Veterain ARCA Menards Series driver/owner Alex Clubb of Clubb Racing Inc. was fined last week following his comments about many of the careless young rich kid drivers where Alex used the “fuck” word a time or two following damage being done to his cars at Elko. His fine from the ARCA officials was $250, but it rallied many of his supporters behind him.

Clubb was cited for violating Section 12-8 in ARCA’s rules of Member Conduct. This is in regard to media and social media interactions. On top of the $250 fine, Alex was placed on probation until the end of the 2025 ARCA Menards Series season. Despite all this, Alex Clubb has run a very respectable season in 2025, where he now sits 7th in the standings, only 13 points outside of the top 5.

Alex is the self-funded owner-operator of Clubb Racing Inc. out of Morris, Illinois, dubbed the Morris Missile. Clubb has run his family-owned team and funded it mostly from his lawn-care business since 2022. So, needless to say, Clubb Racing isn’t rolling in dough, so the damage done to the front of his car hurts. But in ARCA, fans respect that.

Alex made a post about his words with his PayPal link, and fans responded. Alex has since raised $3,124.89 following the penalty. I texted Alex about the support that he got from the racing community, where he said, “It’s amazing! It shows people care about the little guy that’s out there struggling week to week.” On his social media, Clubb even mentioned that legendary ARCA owner Bill Venturini handed him a $100 bill.

You can catch Alex making his 91st ARCA start and the whole ARCA field at Lime Rock Park this afternoon at 4 pm ET on the FoxSports app or on Fox Sports 2 following the Truck race.
