Following a runner-up finish in the ARCA Menards Series at Kansas on Saturday, Monday morning brings some breaking news for Daniel Dye. Dye will be making his NASCAR Cup Series debut with Live Fast Motorsports at Talladega this weekend. Dye will field the No. 78 Champion Container Chevrolet for B.J. McLeod this weekend in his first of four starts in the Cup Series.

Following his debut, Daniel will hop in the 78 again at Pocono on 6/14 and will follow that with a pair of Superspeedways, Daytona on 8/29, and Dega again on 10/25.

Dye has made 49 starts in the Craftsman Truck Series, most recently for Kaulig Racing in a Ram Truck before his suspension. He has also made 48 starts in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, including a full season in 2025 for Kaulig and 3 starts in 2026 for AM Racing in their second entry. Dye’s best finish in Trucks was 2nd at Nashville in 2024, and his best finish was 7th in O’Reilly’s.
