Sam Mayer held off Riley Herbst and Corey Heim to win at Iowa Speedway last weekend. It was Mayer’s 2nd win of the season and the 6th win of his career so far.

Most Recent Winner At New Hampshire

John Hunter Nemechek led 60 laps en route to a win at New Hampshire Motor Speedway Last Summer.

Names To Watch

Alex Bowman: 7-Time Cup Series race winner for Hendrick Motorsports, Alex Bowman will be getting behind the wheel of the team’s Xfinity Series car. The Tucson, Arizona native has 1 Xfinity Series win to his name which came at Charlotte in 2017.

Justin Bonsignore: 3-Time Whelen Modified Tour Champion and 41-Time Race Winner Justin Bonsignore will be making his Xfinity Series debut at New Hampshire on Saturday. Bonsignore, a native of Long Island, New York, has no starts above the Modified level aside from one ARCA Menards Series start at Daytona earlier this year.

Christopher Bell: “The King of New Hampshire” returns. Christopher Bell has started three Xfinity Series races and won all three of them. It is statistically his best track, bar none. He will be hard to bet against come Saturday.

Carson Kvapil: Last but most certainly not least, Carson Kvapil will make his 4th start of the season for JR Motorsports. Kvapil has been remarkably impressive in his previous 3 starts. He survived the carnage and finished 4th at Martinsville and burst onto the scene a couple weeks later with a hard fought 2nd place finish at Dover. His 3rd start, at Darlington, was a bit more of a reality check has he brought home the #88 Chevrolet Camaro in 19th place.

My Pick To Win: Christopher Bell

Ryan Blaney won in the NASCAR Cup Series debut at Iowa Speedway, and in dominant fashion. After Kyle Larson wrecked out of the race at the beginning of the final stage, it was Blaney’s race to lose and he was up to the challenge. He held off two of Larson’s teammates, William Byron and Chase Elliott, who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Most Recent Winner At New Hampshire

Martin Truex Jr. won at his other home track in New Hampshire last year.

Names To Watch

Josh Berry: Josh Berry has been on a roll as of late. After a slow start to the season he has hit his stride, he has 5 Top-15 finishes in the last 7 races, including last weekend at Iowa, where he led 32 laps and finished 7th.

Christopher Bell: As mentioned above, Bell has 3 wins in as many starts at New Hampshire in the Xfinity Series. Bell, in 4 Cup Series starts at New Hampshire, has 1 win, 2 Top-5s, and a Pole Position. His tremendous record at the track makes him one to watch no matter what.

My Pick To Win: Christopher Bell
